Cheerleading at GiGi's Playhouse McHenry!

My 8 year old daughter with DS ,Christine , has been blessed to be a part of the Johnsburg Cheer and Pom squad, coached by Kelly Layton, for the past two seasons. I could not begin to convey all the ways this experience has stretched her, made her grow, strengthened her both emotionally and physically, and most of all- made her just one of the girls and part of a group.

Christine's wonderful experience is due largely to Kelley Layton and her husband, Coach Gary. They are both exceptional people who have a real heart for children and wish to provide all children the opportunity to experience and grow through access to the cheer programs offered at Layton Athletics.

I am so very excited to announce, that GiGi's Playhouse and Layton Athletics are joining together to offer boys and girls, ages 5-11 , the opportunity to be a part of the growing world of competitive cheerleader, right here in McHenry County!!!

Word is traveling quickly and we already have children signed up, and two parent volunteers! If you wish to join us in this great adventure, Please attend the Parent Meeting at 7:00 pm, May 18 at Layton Athletics. We have not picked practice times, and would like to your input as to what times are best for you. Practice will start in June with our first competition in Sept.
