April Skill Builder - 4/25 from 1 to 3 pm!
Mark your calendars for an afternoon of fun and academic skill reinforcement!
Four learning centers will be open for your student to explore phonics, handwriting, math and a fun spring craft in a self-directed, positive setting. No age or grade-level specifications -- anyone who wants to work on these skills is invited and parental involvement is required!
The skills we'll be covering this month include:
Phonics: Learn silly new songs to help remember the letter sounds for g, l, o, u, f, b.
Handwriting: Practice letter formation in a fun new way. Write (or copy) rhyming words that begin with g, l, o, u, f and b.
Math: Try your hand at single digit subtraction or two different levels of pattern building with tangrams.
Arts and Crafts: Create a silly face planter and plant grass seeds that will sprout and grow hair!
